"Diversity is our strength" was the motto adopted by the city of Toronto in
1998. As Christians we should celebrate and experience this diversity. God has allowed a
representation of the nations to live side by side as neighbours and in our workplaces. This presents the church with a wonderful opportunity to reach out to welcome and
embrace new Canadians as they adjust and settle in Toronto. These neighbourhood
profiles are just a few of those identified as communities with a high concentration
of new ethnic peoples. (More profiles to follow.) We encourage you to learn more about these communities.
