Agencies, Books, Videos, DownloadsThe Demographics WorkbookWho is in my neighbourhood? Will they come to church? These are some of the questions explored in the Parish Demographics Workbook * , a tool that will help congregational leaders analyze the demography of their parish and define their ministry goals. The source demographic material is found in the Diocesan Planning Study Summary . This document show how the population of the Diocese has changed and how Anglican churches have been affected by those changes. The Parish Demographics Workbook can help churches understand their surrounding community and how to minister to a changing population. The wealth of information available for every congregation should help in discerning God's call and also facilitate realistic and effective planning in response to that call. The workbook takes about 2 and 1/2 hours to complete for a group of four or five people working together. The group will review the material and write a summary of the key opportunities and challenges their congregation faces in living out its mission and ministry. Once the workbook is finished, the group is encouraged to share the information more widely within the parish, possibly with the advisory board, parish committees, or at the annual vestry meeting. God seems to be calling us into something new--the challenge will be to discern the way forward and to act. Parish Demographics Workbook (B&W - high resolution)

1 Corinthians 12:12-13
12 For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For in the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.

- Church Planting. In terms of the Great Commission we have a Christian duty to share Christ with the world. That duty involves the Christian process of discipleship within worshipping and gathered Christian communities. It is in this sense that we stand within a historical Church that has found its expression in locally gathered communities of faith who find their local vocation in mission and ministry.
About Us
There is a rapidly growing awareness within the Christian community of Toronto that significant progress toward the fulfillment of the Great Commission can be made right here in Canada’s most ethnically diverse city. Immigrants who live among us and the new waves of newcomers who continue to arrive often originate from the very countries we have been sending missionaries to for many years.
