The experiences of some indicate that doing cross-cultural ministry partnerships well is complex and challenging. If your church is thinking of moving in this direction, you will be interested in the unveiling and explanation of Best-Practice for Church to Church Missions Partnerships!

TIM Centre in partnership with the EFC, Lausanne Canada and World Vision invites you to a seminar:

Guest Speaker:

Charles A. Cook, PhD.

Professor of Global Studies and Mission (Ambrose) & Executive Director, Jaffray Centre for Global Initiatives

“Short Term Missions and the Law”

Mission has always been dangerous. The capture and release of a
group of short-term mission participants in Afghanistan highlights the
potential danger inherent in any short-term missions (STM) encounter.
The Afghanistan incident is a stark reminder of the importance of having clearly developed policies regarding organizational liability and risk management.

Local church inattention to matters related to gathering, managing and expending of tax receipted monies can lead to potential C.R.A. litigation.

Come and hear Dr. Charles Cook explain research conducted which will help you understand the legal ramifications for your next Church STM.

Ministry Focus

1 Corinthians 12:12-13

12 For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For in the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.
