EFC Canada - Intercultural Engagement Symposium

September 20, 2007, Rexdale Alliance Church

The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada is hosting Intercultural Engagement Symposiums in the fall of 2007 in numerous Canadian cities. The events are intended to bring together leaders to dialogue about how to reach out more effectively to multicultural communities. Issues to be discussed will include:

  • how to help Caucasian congregations embrace and include those of different nationalities;
  • effective ways to reach out to new immigrants;
  • planting and supporting ethnic congregations;
  • working with immigrant churches to help them keep the second and third generations;
  • etc.

This call to concerned church leaders to share information, resources and discuss strategy is birthed in the desire to see people throughout our land see and hear the gospel in a way that they can understand and become a contributing member of a church body.

To participate, please contact Judy Pfaff at 905.479.5885 Ext. 222

Can you possibly imagine what it will be like when the Bride of Christ - from every nation, every tribe, every people, every language and generation, join together to Praise Him in Unity?

1 Corinthians 12:12-13

12 For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For in the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.
