Toronto Slovak Community
Toronto
is the home of the largest Slovak community in Canada, where, in the
last Census, more than 12.000 residents actively proclaimed their Slovak
heritage. The range of community activities is really wide. Beside rich
Slovak social life, Toronto hosts a number of Slovak-owned companies
and professional services. Each week, a Slovak television program is
produced there that can be viewed by satellite across Canada.
