Cultural Profiles

There are 198 independent countries or nation states in the world. This doesn't include the dozens of territories, colonies and protectorates.  Almost all of these nations are represented in the GTA. Below is a catalogue of one hundred of these countries or cultures. Each one listed is linked to a page which desribes the unique aspects of each country or cultural group.  This information is part of the Cultural Profiles Project sponsored by Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
